Who are Safervision

'SaferVision' trainers are retired Police Officers who have re-formed a working partnership bringing together a wealth of Policing knowledge and practical experience to be able to deliver, with confidence and credibility, a much sought after training and/or consultancy service based around the 'Prevent' strand of the Governments Counter Terrorism Strategy - Contest.

Having worked in Prevent since 2008 and then witnessing the introduction of the Prevent Duty in July 2015, the former officers recognised the difficulties that Statutory Partnerships were experiencing, understanding and incorporating this area of business into their safeguarding policies and procedures alongside the requirement to roll out training across their respective workforces, to raise awareness of Prevent, be able to recognise and support individuals who may be vulnerable to radicalisation.

With this in mind 'Safervision' was formed to support this important requirement now placed on specific sectors and subject of respective governance.
