ProQual Level 2 Award

The Level 2 Award in Understanding the PREVENT and Safeguarding Strategies is aimed at everyone who has a responsibility to help safeguard young people and help to prevent their radicalisation.

It demonstrates that individuals understand the purpose of the Prevent Strategy and radicalisation, helping to safeguard children and young people.

The learning outcomes cover a range of issues around the topic and provide essential knowledge. The unit content are focused around 2 key areas;

Ofqual - The Regulatory Body

The Regulated Qualifications Framework is the single framework for regulated qualifications, the regulatory body for this qualification is the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual).

Proqual - The Awarding Body

This qualification includes candidate access to a high impact learning resource which has been developed by ProQual and one of their partners within the movie industry.

The Level 2 Award has been designed for individuals working in a learning and development role, such as assessors or trainers, who need to develop their knowledge around the alacrity and growing topic that is having a massive impact in everyone’s live and on society, communities and individuals.

This training course offers a safe learning environment, to explore the sensitive topic, and raise awareness so that you can identify and influence the lives of others.

GGL - Registered Centre for Award

The total qualification time for the course is 10 hours, and is internally assessed and verified by GGL Training Solution staff, Assessors and independent Internal Quality Assurers (IQA’s).

The training and candidate evidence is then externally verified by ProQual verifiers, to ensure quality and standards are maintained throughout the learning journey.

Safervision - The Trainers - Subject Matter Experts

Safervision have been authorised to support the delivery of this Level 2 Award via the online platform accessible in collaboration with the registered centre - GGL Training Solutions.

Safervision will offer three levels of delivery to support the learner;

1. Basic - Register & Co-ordinate with registration centre.

2. Intermediate - As above + 2 hour webinar to support learning

from course material.

3. Advanced - As above + mentoring to successful conclusion of

award.
